Otakon Report: PART DEUX

Despite Friday, Saturday was CRAZY AWESOME. I went as Sophie that day with my friend as Howl. HOLY HELL I-DON'T-EVEN-KNOW WE GOT STOPPED SO MANY TIMES FOR OUR PICTURES. Everyone kept either whispering or screaming "HOWL AND SOPHIE!!!!!" I felt famous. ;0; It was great at first, but after a while........no moar plz. D< We actually had to start turning people down because we got tired of it. XD But we went to a Miyazaki photoshoot and stuff and it was sersly awesome. I reeeeeeeeeally want to see a picture of myself and I'm going CRAZY INSANE trying to look around for one but that's my impatience for ya. XD (I found a picture of myself as Chii last year but I look ANGRY so no) We met another Howl and Sophie earlier that morning and they pretty much dragged us into the photoshoot. XD

Later we went to the Masquerade.

To put the entire hellish experience short; IT. FUCKING. SUCKED. THE PERFORMERS HAD ABSOLUTELY NO SENSE OF HUMOR AND THEY WERE JUST ALL TOGETHER HORRIBLE.

I SWEAR I WILL NEVER GO TO ONE THERE AGAIN; I'LL JUST WATCH THE ENTIRE THING ON YOUTUBE.

THE MASQUERADE LAST YEAR (which I watched on Youtube FOR THE LULZ) AND THE ONE IN 2006 WAS AMAZING AND INCREDIBLY FUNNY.

THERE WERE ONLY LIKE WHAT, 3 OR 4 OUT OF 40 THAT WERE ACTUALLY GOOD.

THAT'S SAD.

BUT ANYWAY.

I didn't but much of anything since I was limited in terms of monies this year. I ended up buying....7 prints (I got sucked into a deal where you buy 4 prints for an even $40 so XD), 2 pins, a Link plushie and 2 mangas. (later I ended up buying like, 10 more at a book store) Tyler I was either blind or incredibly oblivious to my surroundings (no surprise if that's the case) but I never found a place where they sold doujinshi; the only place I saw that sold that kind of stuff was all hentai, Chrissy I had absolutely no idea what I would get for you, I'm sorry. D<

omg this lady's dress was soooooo pretty. ;0; I loooove love love the colors and just aljd;lsafjd;lasjr;w3j4r PRETTY. I saw that she was lined up for the Hall Costume Contest. I hope she won something. ;0;

I WILL DO THAT FAI'S OUTFIT ONE DAY I SWEAR.
MAYBE NEXT YEAR.

This Peach actually wanted me and my friend's (omg sorry for horrible grammar lolz) picture first. We were like "PFFFFT NO WE WANT YOURS PLZ"

FINDING AN ASHURA MADE ME HAPPY. And she was equally happy because I recognized her. lol

A Misa at the Photo Suite because my friend wanted a picture.

OMG AMAZING FAI AND KUROGANE. The Fai is like, one of my cosplay "idols"; I was happy that she could make it to Otakon (she has some certain health issues). I wanted to hug her but completely forgot. ;0;

THE GIRL WAS ABSOLUTELY HUGE. She was standing on stilts as you can see. I want to know what her outfit was made out of.....some of that insanely thick foam board?

The Barbossa and Jack were at Otakon last year and I have their pictures. XD

TYLER AND CHRISSY; WE ARE PERFORMING A SKIT NEXT YEAR.

Friday....in short; sucked. We all agreed that it was a huge fluke and therefore I don't need to even talk about it. We didn't even really do anything, really; all of us were like
all day.
